After settling in Colorado, Dr. Furuta bought Lodo Dental to make a difference in the lives of the people of downtown Denver. She is proud to lead a women-owned and operated dental practice in downtown Denver.
Educational excellence
Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Dr. Furuta earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Puget Sound, her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, and completed a general practice residency at the Veterans Hospital in La Jolla, California.
Outside the office
When she isn't seeing patients, Dr. Furuta loves spending family time with her husband, Tad, and their son, Harry. You can find them enjoying the outdoors or finding new restaurants.
